Best Journey Together Chase Cards and Current Values

Lillie's Clefairy ex 184/159 is the Journey Together chase card. Its recent raw sales sit around £68, roughly twice the second card, Salamence ex 187/159. Below the top two the set is affordable: most of the top ten sell for under £25 raw.

Lillie's Clefairy ex 184/159

The card most collectors open Journey Together for. Susumu Maeya draws Lillie and a beaming Clefairy in a bright, leafy clearing, soft and cheerful rather than dramatic. Lillie has a big following from the Sun and Moon games, and her card draws on it.

Six raw sales on 15 and 16 October had a middle of about £68. After dropping the highest and lowest, the range ran from £60 to £113, so check the photos closely before paying the top of it. A PSA 10 has a median of about £225.

Salamence ex 187/159

The best Pokémon-only art in the set. Tsuyoshi Nagano's Salamence banks through a blazing orange sky. Raw copies sell for £26 to £38, and a PSA 10 for about £184, around five times a raw copy. That is a bigger gap than on the Clefairy, because fewer Salamence have been graded at 10.

N's Zoroark ex 185/159

Moody, and cheaper than it looks. Megumi Mizutani sets N and Zoroark in a dark, shadowed scene. It sells for £19 to £30 raw. N's Zoroark ex also comes as a gold Hyper Rare, 189/159, at around £9, which makes the illustration rare the clear pick for most collectors.

The illustration rares worth a look

Three illustration rares make the top ten, and all three have the same quirk: cheap raw, expensive at PSA 10.

• Articuno 161/159 by Kuroimori is a pale, icy scene. It sells for £12 to £16 raw, but a PSA 10 has a median of about £156, more than ten times as much.
• N's Reshiram 167/159 by Bun Toujo sells for £7 to £13 raw and about £127 at PSA 10.
• Wailord 162/159 by Katsunori Sato sells for £7 to £12 raw and about £120 at PSA 10.

A gap that wide says buyers pay heavily for a near perfect copy. It does not mean grading one will pay: fees, postage and the chance of a 9 all come off the top. Our UK grading guide sets out those costs.

How we priced these cards

We read the most recent raw eBay completed sales for each card, up to ten, from CardTrack's sold-sales ledger, which covers the UK, US and other eBay sites. With six or more sales we drop the single highest and lowest, then quote the range of the rest. Hop's Zacian ex had five sales, so its range is untrimmed. Dollars are converted at £0.7499 (16 October 2026).

PSA 10 figures are the median of PSA 10 completed sales, shown only where at least 500 copies hold that grade. The full method is in our guide on how to value Pokémon cards.

A note on pull rates

Collector notes

• Trainer's Pokémon are the theme. Most of the top cards pair a Pokémon with its trainer: Lillie, N, Iono and Hop. If you collect a favourite trainer, this set has a card for them.
• Two versions of several cards. N's Zoroark ex and Iono's Bellibolt ex each have a special illustration rare and a gold Hyper Rare. The number tells you which a listing means.
• The illustration rares are the cheap way in. At £7 to £16 raw, Articuno, Reshiram and Wailord give you the set's best art for a fraction of the top card.
