About Destined Rivals
Destined Rivals is the Scarlet & Violet set from May 2025 that brought Team Rocket's Pokémon back as a named mechanic, 244 cards with a run of owner's cards for Giovanni's team and the trainers who stood against it. It has a full product line: booster box, Elite Trainer Box, booster bundle, Build & Battle box and the blisters.
We would start most people with the booster box here. It is a main expansion with a box, the packs are easy to source through distributors, and the set has enough cards people want that a box is rarely a dull open. The ETB suits a collector who wants the Team Rocket promo and the sleeves. The bundle is for a few packs with no commitment.
This is also a set where the owner's cards split the collecting: some people want every Rocket's card, others want one trainer's run. Say which you are after in the request email and we can look for the whole group rather than one card at a time.
