Description
The Chaos Rising booster box is 36 packs of the May 2026 set, the standard way to open a main expansion in quantity. Chaos Rising is a 122-card set, so a box gets you most of the way through the commons and uncommons and a fair spread of the rarer cards.
Who it suits: a set collector, a group splitting a box, or anyone who intends to open more than a couple of bundles. We would choose it over three bundles because the packs come from one sealed display, and over the ETB if the accessories do not matter to you.
The drawback: 36 packs is a lot of one set, and the box has no promo and no extras. If you only want to try Chaos Rising, start with the bundle. Because this is the current set we expect it to be the first booster box on our shelves.
